what about a cpanel feature for backups to dropbox and ftp server?
what about special cron command for performing backups?

You want a feature that will do a scheduled backup of your site and then email it to an address?

Ain't gonna happen.

Well, just login with FTP and copy your public_html directory to your computer. No e-mail, no dropbox, no nonsense required.

I see what he's saying about dropbox and it's a clever idea, however that is not something we at x10hosting can impliment - that's a cpanel feature.

Not that we'd have it enabled anyways; that'd put a heavy load on the server to have a few people sending stuff to dropbox enmasse so it's likely if it WAS implimented by cpanel, we'd have to disable it to keep the servers stable.
