Bandwidth=?

ok i might want to put some downloads on my site for games. but about bandwidth. what is the say "formula" to use to calulate it?

say if i put a file up that is 1mb. if it is downloaded 100 times, is that 100 mb of bandwidth? I'm just trying to get an idea. and i apologize if this is the wrong forum, please move it accordingly.

also, just page views require bandwidth, so that's usually just a minor cost of bandwidth, unless you have a page that loads a whole bunch of other things on it

Downloads require bandwith, includes, images, if you can access it via your sote it costs bandwith.
