So are they meant to be taken apart and added to? Thats all I need to know heh.

They're meant to give you a starting point with matching parts for a computer. So say you bought a P4 Barebones kit, you'd get a matching motherboard, CPU, and memory(sometimes they come pre-assembled), you'd have to add the video card\sound card, case, and PSU.

I'd just buy the parts separate as it should be cheaper :)

Yeah buying the parts separate might be more viable. The other sounds troblesome.
