Blog inside the site no longer working

There is a php blog inserted inside the index page of my site.
It is a kind of PHP blog ( pretty sure now it is simple php blog)
It is says there is an internal server error: error 500. files are still there since it crashed several weeks back
I am not sure where the error lies...
pls help!!

This is caused by the permissions being set to 777, change them to 755 or lower.

OK TQ for that.. funny that it had always been working with permission 777....
