Well, over the past week or so, I've noticed that my site has been periodically lagging up. I thought it was because I was doing mass installs of forum plugins/styles but I now realize that it's actually cause by bots farming my forum, wiki and site. Here are my current "stats":

"Main Domain
spacepirates.x10.mx
Home Directory/home/spacepir
Last login from94.1.XXX.XXX
CPU Usage 100 / 100 %
Memory Usage 295440 / 1048576 KB
Entry Processes 3 / 5
Disk Space Usage 141.57 / 1024 MB"

I also had this message in the "Resource Usage" section of CPanel:

"CPU resources were limited for your site

You have reached entry processes (number of simultaneously running php and cgi scripts, as well as cron jobs and shell sessions) limit 34 times"

And withing a few days:

"Link to Wiki - NEW!!! - Welcome to our awesome new Wiki! Wiki people wanted!
icon_e_biggrin.gif
Total redirects: 1119
"

So, I'd love to here everyone's thoughts on this, and I'd also like to know if there is any way to prevent this. Although I'm on free hosting, I'm expecting a nasty bill for all this usage that I can't control.

It may help to set up a domain (even a free one like a .tk or .co.cc) and set up CloudFlare;

attachment.php

It's not exactly a huge site (only a couple of pages) but CloudFlare's cache has served ~50% of page views.

Quick reply! O_O

I've heard of CloudFlare before, but I've not actually looked into what it was. I must check this out! :D
