Hello,

I can sign in into my Cpanel due to the "Brute Force Protection". I reviewed and typed my username exactly. And still nothing happens.

My server is also up and running.

Thanks in andvance.

That means you entered the wrong username/password too many times and your locked out of your cPanel account for the specified amount of time.

i tried it, but what i type is all correct and I still get that "brute force". There seems to be something else. Thanks for the response though.

"Brute forcing" is a method of hacking where an automated macro program guesses passwords to a username from a massive database of frequently used passwords. If you have entered your username and password incorrectly too many times, the system likely detected that you were trying to brute force and locked out all log-in attempts to the account.

The solution is simple: stop trying to log in for the amount of time specified. If you continue trying, even if the log-in information is correct, the system will think you are still the brute force hacker and extend the lock-out time.

After the lock out is expired, try again and you should be able to get back in.

If you keep trying to get in while locked out it only extends the lockout!
