can´t login to CPanel - part 2

I posted a thread last night, asking for help to logon to CPanel. This morning the post was closed, but my problem is still not solved......

I see several more users are having these problems. As some of them, I also never got any email confirmation of my username and password.

I can now sign in to CPanel, but all I get is a list of features (plain text, no graphics) on the left site of the page, the rest is blank.

Please help me!!!!

Clear your temp files and check your security settings. I can log in to your cPanel fine from my computer so there has to be something wrong on your end. If there was an issue with cPanel you would see hundreds of posts here complaining about it.

If you're using IE, I believe in tools->options or something similar there is a place for security levels and trusted domains. I think you can modify some things in there for it.

Ok, did that with IE, don't know where to enter trusted domains in Firefox though. Still, it won't open correctly, I only get the remote view of the files I uploaded, once I try to open any of them, I get message that files are no longer available, and that I should contact my server's admin. What else can I try to get it working????

do i need to change dns to x10hosting to login ftp and cpanel, i could not login both, pls help quickly. another question is that x10hosting has any problems with WP 2.3?

Also did you upload your files to the public_html?

Yes, all files were uploaded to public.html.

Maybe something got damaged on the site during maintenance? Perhaps you should try reuploading all those things again. If you didn't...=( I would never trust an online place with my files enough to delete the files off my computer.

Also, with Firefox, to change the security settings, you go to Tools>Options>Security Settings. The Security settings in Firefox are much more easily customized than IE.

Also, you could check for connection problems with your modem/router/whatever. When you don't have enough bandwidth, the browser usually gives up after a bit, leaving you with ugly, unlinked text.

Since it looked like there was no way to fix my problem, I started from zero, with a new account and everything. That worked! Today I noticed that the "old" account is also working (again). Thanks for helping

I also noticed that something is disabled in php, because I don't receive email when I ask for it. I tried it on other hosting and my script worked. Is there a reason it won't work on x10hosting?

Make sure you only have 1 hosting account. If we can delete the other one, please let us know the name and which service its on ( ad-free / ad-enhanced )
