Can I edit my PHP configuration?

My boyscout troop has appointed me webmaster, and our troop site hoster (we have a paid account) is not x10hosting, but I prefer x10hosting, regardless. Can us freehosting account users edit our PHP configuration files? Or is this just for paying users (if x10 allows them to edit)?

Please respond to this, and don't let it go because you think the answer is so obvious, because I've been known to miss the complete obvious. <-- I don't know if anyone does that here, though.

The only way to modify the PHP Configuration is on a VPS, what do you need changed?

Well, it's good to know it can be edited.

Currently, I don't need to change anything, but in the past I have needed to edit it while developing, and I undoubtedly would like to do so in the future. I'm online and the thought crossed my mind. Sorry.
