I really need some instructions on how to reassign our domain name to point to our pages on your server. I am a beginner so I really would appreciate a KISS approach to it. We purchased our .com domain at 1and1.com website and we would like to have the site and email brought over to x10hosting. I have NS1 and NS2 info, but where do I go to enter that data to have our domain pointing at our director on our site here.

Your assist will be appreciated. We looked everywhere for a tutorial on how to get this done.

Thanks.

First you need to make sure that your domain is pointed at our name servers. To do this login to the control panel at 1and1.com and edit the Nameserver Records (Also called NS Records) and enter our two nameservers, which are:
ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

Then login to the AMP at http://x10hosting.com/login using your Forum username and password.
Tick the box marked "Check if using your own domain name", enter your domain name into the text box, then click "Confirm Domain".

It may take a couple of days for your domain to start working.

Ok. I did it, but will it also change my email server too? I didn't see any option on 1and1.com to change that. I changed the the name server for primary NS1.x10hosting.com and 1st secondary as NS2.x10hosting.com. Is that correctly done? Oh. One more thing..... Can I still use the cebusmart.x10hosting.com address until the change is completed in a few days?

Thanks.

Yep, your e-mail will also be changed over to x10Hosting.

Is that correctly done?
It looks right to me.

Yep, your sub-domain should continue to work.
