Can I have .htaccess enabled on FREE HOSTING?

Hi Admins,

I have a wordPress at:
http://www.timesmangalore.com/

I have selected %postname% permalinks set in Dashboard. I need to use .htaccess to get it work. I cannot see or edit .htaccess files on my server. I can search them but I don't seem to be manage them. Any help gys?

reset all interface settings -- click
Go to File Manager
When you get the popup, check "enable hidden (dot) files"
You should be able to see .htaccess

Using, FTP, make sure "enable hidden files" option (or similar name) is enabled.
