can I use my own domain name?

Hi guys, I opened up a X10 hosting about 2 weeks ago and have been working away to get my site all coloured in and purty XD! However I have a .co.uk domain name at another company. I was wondering can I link that domain name to my site and if so how do I do it?

I know this may sound like a stupid question but I have never done it before.

Yes, this is possible and shouldn't be too hard for you to do

You need to see if your other company will let you use your co.uk. If so, they should give you the option to change the nameservers. You will need to change them to:
ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

After that you need to go to http://x10hosting.com/panel.php and modify your account. Put in your new domain name.

You will not be able to view your site immediately at the new domain because it takes a few hours for the change to register across the entire internet.

you first go to x10hosting.com and go to your account panel.
then go to "modify your account"
here you can point your own domain..... enjoy!!!!

Welcome to x10hosting, and as garrettroyce has explained, you will be able to add your domain to x10hosting. If you want, could you please name me your domain registrar and I'll try and help you step by step.

If you know how to name change and such then, what garrettroyce has stated should be straight forward.

I managed to get it all updated! Thank you all again guys it is very much appreciated! I have been wondering how to do that for ages but it's never really been obvious.

My site will soon be able to be seen at www.syriusdesign.co.uk

Hello syrius, have you parked your domain ?? It seems you hadn't.
Go to your cpanel>>Domains>>Parked Domains>> and then park your domain.
