Hello everyone,

I would like to know if I can use the Wordpress installation on my x10hosting space, and if yes, why can't I log into my Wordpress Admin panel ?

I keep getting a "invalid username" error. Is the username the same as the MySQL user I created during the installation?

I'm new to all this so i probably did something wrong lol.

Also after uploading the stuff and modifying the wp-config.php file and creating the MySQL databes and when I launched the installation I got an error message on the wordpress page. But refreshing it brought me a page saying the installationg was already done. I didn't save what the error message said (stupidly). Then I could choose my weblog name and add my email adress.
Weird ...

Thanks in advance for your help :) !

Well, depending on the server you are one your MySQL might be down (Stoli).
Otherwise your PHP version might not allow the functions in Wordpress to execute. You can upgrade your PHP version at http://x10hosting.com/account

When the installation is done, it must give you a username which is 'admin' and a random password. Later, you have to create a new password.

I would say that considering it uses MySQL, and you are probably on the Stoli server, it would be the problem, otherwise, have you tried a fresh install of WordPress? Tried everything from the start? Maybe you did something wrong.
