my site was working fine yesterday, today i got the message "SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) [2002]
An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists."
so i thought maybe a corrupt file as i was able to access the cpanel, tried restoring a backup, same message.
finally i uninstalled the phpbb site with softaculous then did a fresh install of phpbb 3.0.7 when i try to access the site in get the same error message.... please help

I have seen another member has posted the same issue and has also not yet received a reply, is there a general issue that is being worked on?
I just need to know what is happening?
