Can not delete folders from account

Hi,
I can not delete folders in my account. I have renamed them, I have changed permissons, used various different ftp clients aswell as both file managers in CPanel. What do I do?

Try going to their parent directory and changing the permissions of that directory to 0777 (remember to change them back)

Hi,

Changed public_html folder to 777, didn't work, so I changed the folders inside the parent to directory, to 777 and that worked for one but one folder didn't delete.
