can not login to control panel

hi, the control panel login is failing and says my username or password is incorrect. i am able to login to the website as well as the forum, i tried using those u/pass but neither is possible. why is it tht the website and forum have different u/pass? coud it be that the control panel have a different u/pass as well? how do i get the credentials for the control panel or reset it?

For the account panel, http://x10hosting.com/control, you should be able to login with the exact same details as you have here at the forums.

For cPanel the user name is different, you can find the user name and reset the password through the above link.

i did exactly that, change password twice already. i was able to login to forum as well as the website but not the cpanel. the server stoli is not accepting the login.
