Try installing wordpress again. Empty the database and delete all the files. Then re-install. It doesn't look as though you've got much content there.

I'm not quite sure what you've done, but something is seriously wrong with the process you're going through to install it.
You need to unzip the wordpress archive, then navigate to the directory it's installed in.

What is it not doing that it should be?


It's hard to debug when all we've got so far is that it's not working.

installation process is simple, I downloaded it on the wordpress upload public.html link and proceed to run my softvn.x10.mx and it will take me to work
I tried all the code and it errors on x10hosting such
x10hosting but for me is pretty good, I can not find a better free host again

Try the reinstall, and if it's still not working, let us know. These things can usually be solved with a complete fresh install.

Delete the file called ".maintenance" (using cPanel's File Manager or FTP) found inside either the Wordpress install directory, or the wp-admin directory. That'll fix the issue. Sounds like you were either updating a plugin or the install of Wordpress and it got stuck for some reason.

It looks like it was deleted by someone, or by Wordpress itself since your site is working fine now.

Since your site seems to be working now I wouldn't worry about it. That folder is a part of Wordpress.
