ok, my site got hacked a few weeks ago, and everything got deleted, but i had backups so i thought it wasnt a problem, the database backup worked fine, but when i try to do upload the home directory backup i just keep getting a The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.page so it wont let me restore the home directory, does anone have any suggestions?

message_die() was called multiple times. This isn't supposed to happen. Was message_die() used in page_tail.php?

By the looks you have a "message_die()" some place it shouldn't be.

lol, if i even knew what that meant i would fix it, but i dont know anything about that sort of thing, so i was unssure what it was, i seen alot of errors before, but thats a new one, when i try to restore the home directory it restores a few files, then it just times out and stops, ive been trying to restore it for two days, i cant understand whats going on with it?

What type of ftp client are you using?

i use smart FTP

Normally i don't do this. Can you zip up whatever it is you are trying to ftp and email it to me?

oh im sorry, i meant to say im not using ftp im trying to restore backups through CPanel, i should of mentioned that sorry

I would suggest using an FTP client.

oh, well i downloaded the backups from CPanel, i thought i could only restore them through CPanel?

You can restore them using ftp. Just extract the backup (If you need a program, google Alzip) and you have the files.

erm, thats didint wokr, i just get a load of weird CPanel files, like statistics and bandwidth? oh well i guess ive lost my site then as CPanel wont restore my backups, thanks for your help anyway.
