Can upgrade my free hosting's php to V2/V3?

My wordpress blog encountered some problem, whenever I tried to login, a blank page is shown

According to this Post, "http://x10hosting.com/forums/tutorials/35490-wordpress-installation-tutorial.html"
I need to request an upgrade of my PHP as "Wordpress uses some functions that aren't available on X10's v1 PHP plan"

That was an old post from over 4 years ago. There have been no PHP versions or levels for about 3 years now. The php in free hosting accounts now is the equivalent to the old Intermediate/level 3 php, so there's nothing to be done. Php configurations can not be changed on an individual account basis because they are server wide settings.

If you are having problems, please be more specific about it. Wordpress's official site also has support to help you figure out how to solve any problems.
