My site was suddenly suspended (while I was on it) and the suspension reason said it had something to do with high resource usage (quite a shock too, I must add considering I was just browsing my blog). In any case, I tried to login to my control panel to check bandwidth usage and all that but each time I tried, I got an error message 'Login attempt failed'.

Please help!!!

You can't login to cPanel because your account is suspended. You will be automatically unsuspended 30 mins after you were suspended.

Oops... doesn't that just make sense... lol. Thanks!

While I have someone's attention though, can you please explain the 'high resource usage' reason for suspending my account in the first place? I'm very perturbed because the ONLY thing currently on my account is a blog that doesn't even have many members yet.

High Resource Usage Suspensions are caused by scripts using too much of the Server's resources (CPU, Memory), sometimes badly coded scripts or mods can cause this.

Also if you are using WordPress that could be the cause (It seems to use a lot of resources.), quite a few users have been suspended because of that

Thanks TechAsh for your prompt response.

I must say though, I'm only using MovableType blog... and it's a basic installation (without MODs), so I'm truly VERY concerned about this. If with the near-minimal activity I'm having on my blog right now, I'm being flagged as a high resource user, this might be a major problem for me as the blog readership grows.

Are you able to view my account/activity to tell me specifically where I'm hogging resources? I doubt it's anything to do with bandwidth because like I said, there are just a few interests in the blog right now.

Well when I visit your site I see that the default index.html is still there, you should change that to avoid being suspended again.

Even if I could see your site there is no way that I could find out exactly what caused the error. If it happens again I suggest trying a different blog system. I use Joomla (Technically it's a CMS not a blog but ...) and that has never got me suspended, So I recommend giving that a go.
