I have the same problem as on http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/95342-cpanel-link-not-working.html . I couldn't reply as the thread is closed there.

That is, I can't access my cPanel as my college/hostel administrators have recently blocked ports other than 80, 443 etc
I followed the forum post given above, but the alternate cPanel link says my username and password is incorrect. As xxll_martin_llxx said, that username will be different. Please let me know what do i enter as username (and password is the same?) on http://cpanel.jhahoney.x10hosting.com/ ?

Thanks a lot :happysad:

your CPanel username and password are different. You chose them at signup. You can find them here: http://x10hosting.com/panel.php

As for logging in to CPanel, I believe that any link you use redirects to 2082. Have you tried a proxy?

I'd suggest using a know, trusted and secured proxy for connecting to your cPanel. Of course, a better solution would be to tell the network administrators there that you need access to other ports other than 80, 443 and 21 (or if you want to be rude tell them they're idiots and don't know how to manage a network/didn't know that doing that would break tons of apps).
