Cannot Access FTP?

Okay what do I do now I have downloaded those.


Also to clarify this up did I just download FTP clients ( they proberly are )


But I cannot access my cPanel either. SO help! do i need to enable something on my IE like settings to enable this stuff?

When I access my cPanel is just says "cannot find server" when I try to access my FTP it shows an error message up (look on first post).

Okay.. so you're running an ftp.. what ftp server are you using.. how is it configured?? standard port 21???

and what kind of internet hardware are you using?? usb modem?? or modem/router combo??

have you tried accessing the ftp via the internal ip address rather than the internet ip address??

I cannot access my ftp using the no-ip DNS system... due to my router not allowing an outgoing request to be sent back in...

as for your fonts.. that's simply a setting in IE/firefox.... in either case.. to rectify it.. hold down the CTRL key.. and scroll your mouse wheel.. that will scroll through the font size for your browser

So can any one tell me how to do all this?

i have the same issue, ftp for my site has never worked to begin with..

i type in ftp@sentient.x10hosting.com
and i get this error in ff: "421 Unable to set up secure anonymous FTP"

and ive been able to connect to other ftp networks.. i just can access mine

This may sound insane but I can actually get onto your login page, where on ( ftp@tom.x10hosting.com ) It won't even bring me to the login page.. well this sucks ass. :wtcslap:


ALSO WHAT SUCKS I CANNOT ENTER MY cPANEL all it say is that "cannot find page" this SUCKS!!!!! :-(

Your cPanel works for me, so does ftp. I visit it like this: (in IE. I type) ftp://userass@ftp.tom.x10hosting.com (you could just do ftp://userass@tom.x10hosting.com) but some people have problems without having the ftp.x10hosting.com (I think it's only a FireFox issue).

Of course replace the user with the username and the pass with the password. Then paste it into your browser's address bar and press enter, should bring you to the main FTP root.

Still it doesn't work and Civilr I was using that in the first place. there is no hope. Anyways I cannot get into the cPanel either.:ughdance:

So this really SUCKS I cannot access anything when I use MY tom.x10hosting.com but when I try and access say Civilrs Ftp it works and get me to the login bit, its just my account because say I i registereted for another account then it would work and same with the cPanel.

I dunno some things gone wrong and No one knows

I am pretty sure it's a problem on your end that we cannot fix. As I am not there and I don't know what's causing it. So therefore I cannot help you. Sorry, but you're on your own until you can find out more information about this.

Oh okay then, what I don't understand is that other FTP servers and cPanels work for me its just this host that don't work for me its ashame

If anyone has any help or anything they know about this then please do say so My forums are swicthing servers[host] so I guess it doesn't matter. ehe!

Hello 2all.I decided setup acces anonymous FTP to my site.In da cpanel I setup from menu Manager FTP Аnonymous FTP controls by sanction of access anonymous FTP in the corresponding menu.But I see this on ftp://anonymous[dog]namez.exofire.net/
