cannot access webpages

Hi there,
Im aware that upgrades are being performed over the next month or so but my site have been down for a few days, I have access to my CP but if i want to browse my site pages they either just hang or i get error messages.

Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

I have 2 other sites which simply timeout...

Im guessing this is simply an issue because of the upgrades since all sites were fine a week ago but some confirmation would be good.

Did you use localhost as you DB_HOST in configuration.php file???

If not then change it and try again
