Cannot confirm email address!

I get this error: \\\"You currently have a hosting account pending creation. Your hosting account will be created as soon as your account\\\'s email address is confirmed.\\\"\r\nSo, I load my email, click the link, and I get this error: \\\"The email address supplied is already in use (support).\\\"\r\nWhy won\\\'t it let me confirm my email to begin hosting?
