cannot connect to cpanel

Hello I just opened a new account. The account page says the the cpanel url is

Your Website Address -http://kolaporeuplands.x10hosting.com
cPanel URL -http://stoli.x10hosting.com:2082



whereas the knowledge base says that



1. You use your domain and add :2082 to the end.
e.g http://mydomain.com:2082

which conflicts with what the account panel page says, and the FAQ page says


Type in your browser address bar http://www.yourwdomain.com:2082/ .

which is slightly different yet again, and none of the variations work.

Any thoughts appreciated!

I can reach the login form just fine using: http://kolaporeuplands.x10hosting.com:2082 as well as http://stoli.x10hosting.com:2082

What happens when you browse to the addresses? Do you get the login form?

I'm getting a network timeout message after about 2 minutes or so. Hmm, is there something about port 2082 that requires a certain browser and/or firewall option or configuration?

it could be a firewall issue. Browser should not matter at all.

Although I doubt it, this might work: http://cpanel.kolaporeuplands.x10hosting.com/ (should still answer to the same port in the end)
