Cannot create and validate account

Hi I created an account and received a link by mail.

When I click on this link I get an error message saying. "You must follow a valid link to this page". No matter whether I click it or cut-and paste it into the browser.

At the same time I cannot log in, here also an error message.

Please help.

PS: Let me know which tech info you might need, didn't want to post the link or my username here.

That is right.

Nevertheless I get an error message when attempting to log in:

An Error Has Occurred
The username specified does not exist.

I am using "scramble" without any capital letters.
