cannot login to Cpanel

Hi, I can't seem to login to Cpanel.
Logged into the forums and looked at similiar problems.
Cpanel @ http://www.fairsnout.com:2082/login/ now appears but won't let me login. Login Attempt Failed!

So far I have modified my pw and email address (twice to different email addresses) and verified the received email.
I then flushed the DNS as detailed in the forums, but still get the above.

On the account management panel it is still saying the domain I've chosen is unavailable even though I have modified the namesservers to point to ns1.x10hosting.com Primary and ns2.x10hosting.com - is this related to the issue?

Flush your DNS cache and try again. I changed your domain a bit.

When you say you changed it a bit what do you mean exactly?

I quit firefox, flushed the DNS but still the same Login Attempt
Failed!

Try logging in at http://lotus.x10hosting.com:2082

I removed www from your domain.

Hello. Still not able to login to cpanel or is this problem server related?

Cpanel is the only area I seem to have problems with, can't login to the http://lotus.x10hosting.com:2082 either!?!

any suggestions gratefully received.
