Cannot login to phpMyAdmin

I've had this issue for awhile now, but I dismissed the problem since I was not needing access. Now that I'm working on a new project I do need the access. Upon clicking the phpMyAdmin button in the cPanel I am brought to the phpMyAdmin page with the error "cPanel was unable to successfully log you in to phpMyAdmin. If you are having issues logging in to phpMyAdmin, please submit a support ticket." Upon entering my credentials on this page in attempt to login I am brought to a white page with the same error.

Any help is much appreciated.
