Begining yesterday, every file I try to upload fails after one second and does a loop of trying to upload. What is causing this?

This is the loop it goes through:

Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (198,91,81,8,117,170)
Command: MLSD
Response: 150 Accepted data connection
Response: 226-Options: -a -l
Response: 226 8 matches total
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (198,91,81,8,118,64)
Command: STOR testfile.bz2
Response: 150 Accepted data connection
Response: 226-Error during write to file
Response: 226 Transfer aborted
Error: File transfer failed after transferring 81,920 bytes in 1 second

How do I go about checking that?
-
to check your account's disk usage (amount of disk space allotment used) on x10hosting free-hosting server...
in [ cPanel-x3 ] theme's home page (not x10hosting Basic) - look down left side for [ Disk Space Usage ] - you might need to open ( click on ) [ Stats ]
NOTE: if you are NOT in the [ cPanel x3 ] theme - click on the "Switch Theme" button at the top on the screen (after you Sign-in at [ https://www.x10hosting.com/sso/login ]) - you can choose between [ x10Hosting Basic ] and [ cPanel-x3 ] themes

be sure to check the number of [ inodes ] used - 50,000 is the maximum
Cron jobs - made by you or a CMS you use - can put a lot of Emails on your account (over time) - each one counts as a file (one inode)

because I deleted a 50 mb item
-
if you used filemanager to delete the file(s) - be sure to empty the trash

Yes, you were right about me being full of the first 512 mb of data. How do I go about increasing the available data? I read on another forum that:

"all members are limited to 1GB at first and then after (I think) 512mb you are allowed to request unlimited space using a support ticket"

Is that true? Although I cannot open a support ticket myself due to a "Current support level − Free Community Support"

for new x10hosting's free-hosting accounts - disk space is initially limited at 512 MB - Users may request (in this forum) for unmetered (not unlimited) disk space

The requirements for unmetered disk space are:
* The account has been active for at least 7 days.
* The account must be using at least half (50%) of it's current disk space allotment.
* The account must have a valid (i.e. working) website and follows the Terms of Service (TOS).
before x10hosting's Admins will upgrade your account

this upgrade is completely free

So if I were to upgrade to premium, would that increase my storage space?
