I have read all forums pertaining to pictures and can't find an answer. I uploaded my JPG pictures under public_html in File Manager. Only one picture is showing up on my home page. My URL is http://www.nikitasphoto.co.cc/. Please help!!

http://www.nikitasphoto.co.cc/portfolio.html

2 ways to fix:
Code:
1. move all the photos that you want displayed on your portfolio into a folder called: portfoliopics

Code:
1. go into the html of portfolio.html and remove all instances of portfoliopics/ in your images

I tried to make a new folder called profilepics in public_html and I uploaded the pictures to that file and still nothing. I'm not sure how to remove the pictures I already have in portfolio.html but I created my site in Microsoft Expression Web and unfortunatly it is now expired. I don't understand why my first picture shows up but the rest wont when they are all the same JPG files. I resized all of these pictures to fit to my site too, so I can't just take the pictures off my memory card and upload them, right?

Oh yeah, thats what I meant to say. Sorry. However, that is the folder I made (portfoliopics) and it is in public_html and still no pictures.

When I try entering the URL for the images directly (using either folder name) I get a Forbidden screen, not File Not Found.

Can you check the permissions on the folder and on the images?
Did you hotlink protect the images?

It says HotLink protection is currently enabled. There are two URL's to allow access, and "Allow direct request" is not checkmarked. If that is all how it should be, I'm going to try to make a folder again.

try disabling it for now, just to debug the site
once you get your site working you can re-enable it without harming your site

Did you knowingly enable Hotlink protection in the first place?

If you did not, whatever you are using to upload files might be doing it.

Just disable the hotlinking, do not re-upload the pictures.
