I started an account last week and received an email ("click the link to activate"). I activated and have not received any further email.

I can view my site (bfpower.x10hosting.com) but can't access the cpanel. When I try to (via http://cossacks.x10hosting.com:2082), my browser tells me it's a broken link. I can access the account panel fine, just not the cpanel. I've searched around the forums and kb but couldn't find anything that would work for me.

Could someone point me in a direction, please? My username is bfpower, and I use the free hosting (no ads).

Hi bfpower,

I am able to load the Cossacks cPanel link that you provided above fine. Did you try using the alternative links also?

Also, please check to make sure that you don't have any firewalls or anti-virus programs that may be blocking connections to port 2082, or restricting connectivity to the Cossacks subdomain.

I did check the KB and couldn't find a fix (such as clearing the browser cache). No joy.

My guess is that the work firewall is blocking the port. I'll try again from a different location this evening and will post back.
Edit:
I checked from home, and it works fine.

I'm 99% sure it's the corporate firewall, because I can hit cossacks on 80, but not on 2082.

Consider it resolved. Thanks for your help, Adam.
