The error:
Connection Problems

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

I got this email aswell 2 days ago:

There has been a problem with the database!
MySQL reported:
Access denied for user 'jak_Jak'@'int.chopin.x10hosting.com' to database 'jak_evolutionforum'

This is a notice email to let you know that SMF could not connect to the database, contact your host if this continues.

Anyone know whats going on? My forums been down for over 3 weeks now.

I use SMF for my site too and it's sending the same e-mails. I guess it's because of all the down service we have been experiencing with x10hosting lately.

Go into cpanel, click on Mysql Databases, Click the X next to 'jak_Jak' under Users in the Current Databases table

Go down to Add user to Database, select jak_Jak, then select the database
Click add
Select the "ALL PRIVILEGES"
Click Make Changes
