i am having an issue with my control panel theme its gone all weird. when i log in all i get is a sub domain and a button that says open control panel.

I have parked a domain on the server but its only letting me access the sub domain setup when registering

JAlmOV4.png

on the left hand side if i click on dashboard i get an option to change theme from basic to x10x3 but when i do the screen refresh's and it goes back to basic theme

i have no option's at the top of the screen other than username that opens a drop menu saying reset "page settings" and logout and a search bar

ZoivDi2.png

i need to be able to get back to how it was when i originally registered so that i can access my parked domain and install / setup my website onto that domain rather them the sub domain

i hope we can resolve this issue

Your account should now be set back to the theme it originally had when you signed up.

Did you try going to the control panel? There's only one control panel through which you manage all the domains you have on your account, the landing page will only list the main domain for your account.

From what I can see the domain you have added in your account is a slightly different one to the one you mention: ukguygaming.ga

The fact that the domain you mention isn't added to your account neither as a parked or as an addon domain would be what's causing it to not work properly (the domain that is actually listed on your account isn't even registered at this time).

Click the domains link, that tells you what domains are actually associated with the account and if they are parked or addon domains.

What you see on the front does not necessarily reflect what domains are currently associated. Not sure why the domain that is actually parked right now differs from what it should be and from what you at some point actually added as that would only show if the correct domain was added at some point through that interface.

It always logs you out when switching, should be switched when you log back in though. What you see in your screen shot is the simplified version of cPanel that we have customised so it is actually the control panel for you account, just with some advanced features hidden.

I'm guessing that what you really is after is the full cPanel, which is the same regardless of what domain you want to manage, you have the files available in file manager, and the parked domain under dns (parked domains) section.

hi anna,

i cannot acess the domains link anymore as i switched theme and now it wont allow me to switch it back again so am again stuck on the domain and "open control panel" button for ukguygaming.x10host.com domain its now no longer showing me the ukguy232gaming.ga domain

when i log back in the theme does not change and still put me onto the version with the button where as the version you had me on i could see both domains perhaps removing all website and re adding the domain may help resolve this issue

Are you using the "switch theme" link that is present in the upper right corner? My account that is on the same server lets me switch themes without a hitch.

hi anna,

yes i am using that and it wont let me switch when i do so it logs me out and when i log back in its still the same

also ukguy232gaming.ga is still redirecting me to http://ukguygaming.x10host.com/ even though i have now deleted this website

when i go to domains at the top http://ukguygaming.x10host.com/ is still showing as listed and stated is the "main" domain which i dont want that as the main one i want ukiguy232gaming.ga as the main domain

Odd, works without a hitch for me, both on my account and on yours (granted loged in through the backend as admin).

What you had in your last screenshot, the basic theme, is in reality the same control panel, just with a custom theme where many of the more advanced features are hidden and somethings made a little easier to find.

In the full cPanel theme you'd find what domain is currently parked to your account under the section "Domains" -> "Parked domains".

To manage the domain you either use that option (to remove, redirect or add domains) or the filemanager (to upload or edit the actual files), the filemanager in the full view would be the same as if you clicked on filemanager in the basic theme, the main differens would probably be that on basic it takes you direct to the correct folder (which for a parked domain is public_html, the same as the main domain).

You might want to try clearing cache and removing cookies from your browser, that could be part of the issues with switching themes on your end.

hi anna,

but this still does not explain why when i attempt to go to ukguy232gaming.ga it redirects me rather then displaying the website associated to that domain

is there a way i can resolve this so when people go to ukguy232gaming.ga it will show my site rather then redirecting

The main domain must at all times be the one provided by us for free hosting accounts. With the other parked it is an alias it will always show the same conten as the main domain.
I'm not being redirected when going to the ukguy232gaming.ga domain.

You are on a shared server and share system resources with other users. Those resources are limited and if you exceed those limits, then you will receive that message. You can check your usage with the Resource Usage tool in cPanel.

@lylex10h i am no were near any usage limits as i have not created any content due to not being able to access my website, control panel or ftp this is swaying away and totally different issue from the issue i'm facing this is a server issue on their end as i cant even log into anything

Further there is no "resource usage tool" in my control panel but stats are showing

Virtual Memory 0 / 1024
CPU Usage 0/100%
diskspace 36.64mb / 512mb
there is no stats showing for bandwidth usage
