Can't connect to FTP

Hi guys, I'm getting the message Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known". when I try to connect to my site through FTP.

I've set up my .co.cc domain name with nameservers ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com in the last 2 hours, do I need to wait another 46 hours before I'll be able to connect or have I made a mistake somewhere else?

If you can see your site at co.cc your FTP should be working as well.

double check your user name. Your created accounts will be like username@domain and the default account is the same as your cpanel login information.

Thanks for the response, duly repped.

It's strange, my name comes up on the WHOIS for the .co.cc but having uploaded a custom index.html through the browser cPanel, I've found that it's not appearing and that i'm getting the same splash page as if I'd never registered it at all (e.g. http://www.aosidjsoiadji.co.cc/)..

Any ideas?

If it says "is available" you need to go back and double check that your co.cc domain is setup properly (you do have the correct nameservers" and your x10 account panel as well: http://x10hosting.com/panel.php -> manage your account.

Aight, so I tried getting rid of the .co.cc and switched my URL to .x10hosting.com.. I then downloaded the autosettings for Core FTP and got the following error message when attempting connection:

Resolving pokervideos.x10hosting.com.coreftp...  
Can't establish connection --> pokervideos.x10hosting.com.coreftp:21 @ Wed May 27 16:49:06 2009   (11004-100)
The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for.

Using FireFTP at ftp://pokervideos.x10hosting.com I get this message:

220-Local time is now 10:57. Server port: 21.

220-IPv6 connections are also welcome on this server.

Which seems like everything is good to go, I just don't know you login information

I'm ashamed to say that having tried a million different FTP clients, pinging the server and banging my head against the wall, it was a simple matter of cold-booting my router.
