can't connect via ftp

I am unable to connect to my site with ftp. I have tried IE,IPswitch and fireFTP(FF addon)and I am unable to connect.II was on line earlier and uploaded files but now I can't connect.

The stats for the server say that ftp is up.

I can still get to cPael and everything there is fine but can my IP be blocked just from the ftp part of the site? This is the problem I had with cPanel before.

I cannot update my site or anything so I hope I don't get suspended because I don't have an ad on my site like I',m supposed to.

Ok well still no help well I have even tried to create a new ftp account and that won't work either. It must be on you end.

What is the error you are getting and what username are you using to connect?

I am getting a can't connect error.I m using ftp programs as stated above. I tried to connect to it using a browser and get canbot connect from them also.

I am using jgadmin@justgaming.pcriot.com as the username. As i stated before it was working I left came back a few hours later and it wasn't working.

It seemed to stop working shortly after they fixed the cPanel problem. It had blocked my IP for too many failed login attempt.

Try using just jgadmin for the username and stoli.x10hosting.com for server.

ok well when I try to ftp the stoli.x10hosting.com link it cannot connect.

If I try it with http It tells me that cPanel is installed.

cPael works for me. It is just I cannot connect to my site with ftp.
Edit:
Not sure if it was something that got fixed but as of now is has been working for about 10 hours now. All I did was kept trying till it worked.
