Apparently in the Cpanel File Manager. Everytime I delete a file, it does not really delete, after I reload. The file is still there. Any Help?

On the "starka" server if that helps with anything

Usually it's a permissions issue that fixes itself but looks like that's not the case this round.

Which file(s) need to be removed, and do I have your permission to remove them by force?

Edit: Actually it is a perms issue, they dun gone and set themselves to 0, usually a sign that it got installed by fantastico and fantastico had a bad hair day. I can still kill the required file(s) off though; I'm on for another hour or so and I'll keep checking back every few minutes to make sure this doesn't float to the back again :)

Installed the wrong version of Joomla with Fantastico. Yeah you have permission, you can remove everything except for:

index.html
/photos
plogger-1.0RC1.zip

Working now, gimme about 5-10 minutes depending how slow starka wants to be today (hopefully not too slow, I HATE SLOW SERVERS :) )

I'll post back when it's all set.

*Ding!*

Only 2 things I didn't do, one of which cause I can't:

1) Didn't remove the mysql database; this is the one I don't have access to. Thankfully the database itself shouldn't have permissions like the files, and it should be reusable but if you really wanna kill it with fire, delete it through cpanel :)

2) There's a hidden dot-file for the "what you see is what you get" editor we use; to be safe I left it in case you needed it, but also cause that one appears to have the correct permissions (or correct enough to delete it yourself), and because it's not part of joomla/won't affect installing new apps.

Otherwise, should be all set again!

Edit: Woo 6 minutes! That's actually not half bad for dropping connection halfway through :)
