I'v had FTP running once before to get my wordpress bloog up, but now I need to put another page.
I can't for the life of me get FTP to connect, the one time the CPanel did finally manage to load the FTP configuration page (lotus is a piece of junk?) i made sure my settings were correct.
I have tried several times with sifferent setting from FileZilla with no luck. I wasn't sure if it was my ISP since I'm at an Academic establishment, their proxies etc might have been the problem, so i tried net2ftp which still can't connect to my account.
Settings i'm using are as follows:
host: ftp.hamid.x10.mx
username: aliasneo@hamid.x10.mx (also tried aliasneo@ftp.hamid.x10.mx)
password: my cpanel login password.
Port: 21
Mode : Passive/Active (tried both)
Remote dir: /
It's driving me mad now, since for the last few days i'v been practically unable to access my site at all with lotus being so messed up.
Assistance would be appreciated, thanks.
EDIT: It appears that I can't access it from the CPanel FTP either, the directory structure is visible on the left, but the main windows just says "Loading..." all the time.
