can't host files?

I would like to host files so users can download them. Its not working for me. I have a.bat file that I let people download. http://xwd.ez.lv/downloads/MinecraftBackupTool.bat But it gives a 403 error, but the page says 404. Any help?

There is a "software you developed" exception to the file hosting thing. The real problem is that you're distributing a BAT; it would have to be a non-self-extracting archive (ZIP preferable for Windows users, since it doesn't need additional software) to get around the security settings (mod_security) - something your users would have to take additional steps to turn into executable code.

Downloads are only allowed on your x10Hosting account if they have to do directly with your website. e.g. you developed custom software and are selling it or giving it away. Accounts may not be used for mirrors, game file hosting, or any other type of file hosting not specified here.

That would be "directly related to the website the account is intended for" is the website is home to the software.
