Can't Install Joomla Extensions!

I had encounter this problem for a long time. I want to seek help on why always when I tried to install a new component or extension in my joomla it will just upload and then do nothing. It just can't install any extensions. I really hope to receive a prompt reply from the team! Thanks in advanced!
