Can't log into CPanel or update site

Hi!

I've been trying to log into my CPanel but am told that my password is incorrect. I have changed it successfully and still can't log in.

I read on the forum that webdisk is no longer in effect so to update my site I would need to use ftp - which I can access via my CPanel... is this right or am I totally off base?

Which is the Cpanel Link you used.Use the one that is mentioned in your Account Panel

Go to https://x10hosting.com/control/?hosting. Click the button under the chart of information that says Login to cPanel. Login from there.

Your cPanel URL should be http://amabelle.elementfx.com:2082 or http://chopin.x10hosting.com:2082

You can also edit your files thruogh FTP by using clients like http://filezilla-project.org/ (As Derek mentioned above). The login info there would be

Host: amabelle.elementfx.com
Username: cPanel Username
Password: cPanel Password
Port: 21

Derek - Thanks for the link; I've just downloaded it and can update my site now (breathes huge sigh of relief)

If I can update my site using Filezilla, do I still need to be able to get into Cpanel?

You will need Cpanel if you want to park a domain or create MYSQL database etc

Yes, to get into cPanel to add your MYSQL etc. You login to http://x10hosting.com/control with your forum details. And http://amabelle.elementfx.com:2082 is your cPanel to manage mysql.
