can't login to cpanel but CAN FTP!

I'm yet another person who can't log into cpanel, even when carefully cutting and pasting the password. Updated my password, to exactly what it was supposed to be already, via x10 account panel (yes I know the difference between that and cpanel); that changed my forum password to the new thing but at least I can use it. I cannot log into cpanel with any combination of hosting or forum ID, and forum (old) or hosting (unchanged) password.

However, I can ftp with the hosting ID and hosting password.....

Want me to try with a completely new password?
