Hi all, I'm new here and just having a few issue's. I created the account yesterday and it all works fine

I used the Sitereptile to make a template base and it all went though and installed fine. If you go to the homepage it is all fine and works just says it is under construction. When you go to the admin.php page and enter my login info it says that the Password (or login) is incorrect!. I don’t no why this would happen because I'm entering the info I set it up on.

Regards Andy

Edit:
I just been looking though the FAQ's and other posts and it seems other people have been having this problem, I read that if you go to http://www.x10hosting.com/account and change the password it can somtimes work. When I go to this link all I get on the page is:

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(/tmp/sess_eb53d5bce9eb47683c06e08882fb014b, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /home/corey/public_html/panel.php on line 4

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/corey/public_html/panel.php:4) in /home/corey/public_html/panel.php on line 4

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/corey/public_html/panel.php:4) in /home/corey/public_html/panel.php on line 26

Warning: Unknown: open(/tmp/sess_eb53d5bce9eb47683c06e08882fb014b, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0

Is this somthing I've done or is it a fault on server? like I said in my last post all I have done is made the account yesterday 22/08/09 and uploaded a template from Sitereptile.

First of all, make sure you are not confusing your forum log-in info with your cPanel log-in info or any other passwords you may have set up on your account.

I just tried visiting the Account Panel and it worked fine for me. Try again after clearing your browser's cache:

Ok I cleared the browser's cache and went back to the http://x10hosting.com/panel.php

It logged in fine without all the codes and errors, but I still cant login to my website admin.php. Do I need php v2 to use the siteretile templates?

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "admin.php" as there could be an infinite number of pages named as specified. Could you give us the URL of the specific page you are having trouble logging in to?

Yes, your link makes more sense than the one I gave.

I don't know about the login problem, though. It never even allowed me to log in to create a site in the first place!

Not exactly.

If you read the post I linked to, you will see that for me I couldn't even log in to the creation page, the same as a few other people had been finding (though it was working fine for many people).

I didn't particularly want to create a site with SiteReptile, it was more that I wanted to test out the feature, & also confirm the process for other people having problems. But as I said, it seems to allowing me in now, at last (to the creation page, that is. I don't know about the admin page, because I haven't made a site using it yet).

Have you checked that your login works OK when you try to login to cPanel? (make sure to use exactly the same as you have been trying in the admin page. Also try to clear your browser's cache before logging in (just some stabs in the dark for a solution!)

You can find a link to your cPanel on your Account Panel page.

It created it fine and said successfully installed and when you go to the url it is all there just cant edit it. I cleared the browsers cache and it still won’t go in. I logged out completely and then cleared it so i had to re log back into everything and it logged into the account / Cpanel & forum fine just not the admin side of the website so i can edit it. Ill try and install it again? If i run the wizard again will it mess the web space up or just over right it?

I don't know, but I'd imagine it would take you back to square one, losing your original work.

You could open a Support ticket for this (seeing as no-one else has provided you with a solution here). It seems a bit buggy to me, given that I couldn't even login to the creation page originally.

Have you looked at the other options?

Fantastico in cPanel has some great, & far more fully featured sites it can install, & it only involves a few clicks. (SiteReptile may be easier to understand for beginners though)

Yea i would try another program to create it, how do i get rid of the install i got on there now? just delete everything out of the www folder and html_pubilic?
What are all the other files in the directory? if i deleted everything back to the root would that just sqrew the space or just delete the website?
