can't make topics?

I just got done installing my forums not that long ago and ends up after setting up a few forums i went in to them and ends up that i can't post topics. I'm using phpbb3 forums could any one help??

Are you receiving some type of PHP error server error when you try posting?

i can't post at all there's no button to click on to make a topic.

i just went to my site and went to see if i could post (hope to be lucky and could) and there was a topic button to press to make a post. well i guess i was signed out so when i did sign in it wouldn't let me post and the topic button was gone =[

i figured out what i have to do =] i just had to mess with the permissions =]
