Can't reply to posts??

If we can't reply to posts in the free forum, isn't that going to :
1. Increase the load on the support staff. ( I know, there are new hires in the wings.)
2. Make it more difficult to maintain an unsuspended status for the ad-free users...

Just asking...

1. No. As Corey mentions in his News / Announcement, users were posting misleading or wrong information, which was making it hard for the staff to respond.

2. No. Since the requirement is to just login, not post. Plus, if the user wishes to post, there are other areas of the forum they are welcome to post / reply in.

Users were posting ridiculous amounts of false information to each other which makes it even harder for us to help. It also forced each staff member to read each thread just to find out another staff member replied already. Now we can easily see which threads need to be taken care of.

As StarShine said, we do not require posting. Just a login.
