Can't send emails from squirrel mail

Hello i created an email account, and i can't send emails, receiving is ok. Maybe i did a missconfiguration, in other emails accounts before the upgrade were working fine.

I'm in lotus, http://aztecas.exofire.net, sub domain http://informatica.aztecas.exofire.net

almost forgot here is the error

"Mensaje no enviado. Respuesta del servidor:
Expiró el tiempo de conexión
110 No puedo abrir la conexión SMTP"
it says time expire in connection 110 , cant open a smtp conecction

Are there any error messages that appear when you press send? Or are you or others not able to receive emails send from your exofire.net account? If the second is true, look in the spam folders.

Edit: Okay. Someone more knowledgeable should come along and help now that we know the error message.

receiving is ok, the only thing i cant send it outputs the following error:
