Can't Sign Up

This email is being sent to notify you that the hosting account that you have signed up for has not been created, due to an error which occurred during the creation process.

The error that occurred was:

Whm error: sorry, a dns entry for mainiacfreakus.x10hosting.com already exists, please delete it first (from all servers in the dns cluster) (code create_1)

The error that occurred can most likely be resolved by signing up again for a hosting account here: http://x10hosting.com/hosting/signup


I already have an account: mainiac

I can login to the account management panel, but it tells me i have to link my hosting account, and then tells me my account doesn't exist.

Please help me with this.

Hello, are you trying to sign up for a second account, or what would you like us to do? Remove the dns entry so you can sign up? Or would you just like your old account link to your forums account?

My old account was apparently deleted, so i would like it 'back' so as to speak .
But I can't recreate it because the dns entries are still in the nameserver.

So, yes, please removed the dns entries for:

mainiacfreakus.x10hosting.com
swreview.mainiacfreakus.x10hosting.com

You should now be able to signup with your old subdomain.

DNS Entries aren't automatically deleted, so the problem was that your subdomain hadn't been removed from the DNS records although your account no longer existed. But it sounds like fedlerner removed it, so you should be able to sign up again.
