Windows Explorer (XP and probably Vista/7) has a nice function to create a new My Network Place for x10's FTP and log in to see the full directory, add/delete files and upload new ones by either copying or dragging multiple files. Much easier than using FTP software like Core FTP
However, while I have no problem viewing my directory and uploading to DriveHQ, I cannot log into the My Network Place I've set up in Windows Explorer for x10. The two parameters used to create the network place are ftp.myname.x10.mx and myname@myname.x10.mx
where my name is the name of my control panel.
When I try to log it from My Network Places, I get a message when entering my password: Windows cannot access the folder. Correct name & permissions
Anybody tried to doing this with success? It's a great capability if I can get it to work
