I am trying to install Movable Type...from the look of things there should be no problem
However, following the instructions from MovableType and putting the mt folder in the CGI-BIN causes the browser to prompt me if I want to downlaod mt.cgi
I tried to instead have the mt folder within the appropriate domain folder (not inside cgi-bin) and surely enough it seems to run, but I get a 500 server error page.
I tried having things inside scgi-bin as per the CGI forms instructions...the prompt to dowload happens
To make matters short, what do I need to do, to have a .cgi script run (where should the .cgi files reside)?
