I don\'t think i\'m doing something right here but not sure what...
I have a pearl script that creates an auction site. The script requires the use of folder cgi-bin
I don\'t recall having a folder called cgi-bin so i created one.
I get 500 request denied or if i move it out of public http, can\'t find folder cgi-bin.
Help please?

Unfortunately both Perl and Python have been disabled for the present time on the Free Hosing Account servers due to abuse by some members in the past.

There has been some mention of enabling them again, but there is nothing at all definite. I would proceed on the assumption that they will not be enabled.

Then these features need to be removed from the front page because it states that free accounts have pearl and python support.
Also, cpanel tells me i'm using perl 5.8.8 and shows the directory it's installed to(usr/bin/perl). Also tells me I'm using kernal 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5.

EDIT: was so looking forward to my auction site, too...
