cgi-bin perl permission problems

Hi,

I'm getting the following when I try and run a perl script on my site:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/boogerloogercaptcha.pl on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


I've given the script 755 permissions so I'm not sure what's wrong. Can you help please?

Just to clarify, MaestroFX1 is saying that perl is not supported on free.

Paypal just sent me these details:

Date of Sign Up: 27 Apr 2011
Subscription Name: Illuminated Package Subscription


but the email from x10 reads "Your x10Hosting account bream has been upgraded to our prime membership."

I'm a little confused about that - Is Prime the same as Illuminated? It appeared to be a different package on the order page.

Yes, you have paid for Illuminated Package Subscription(5yrs).

As soon as your payment gets cleared, it should be working.

Okay. You have signed up for illuminated. Let me clarify:
Illuminated includes prime membership. This is an automated change and should happen fairly quickly.
Your hosting account will be migrated over manually by a staff member. This means that there could be a delay between your payment and the site being changed.
Once the migration is complete, you should have no issues using perl.

I'm not sure. I think the person that migrates your account will likely contact you in some way to tell you it's done. Possibly via PM on the forums. Support don't really have much to do with the changeover itself, so I hope you'll understand the lack of information. :)

No problem. If you're still having issues with perl in ~24 hours, please post back, and we can chase up your migration.

Just a little extra info, in case someone doesn't notify you.

Log-in to your Account Management Panel using this link:
https://x10hosting.com/control/

Then, go to "Hosting Account Management", you should see:
"adfree-infinity-illuminated" as your Package,when the migration is complete.
