I use a language called PureBasic to make executables. It's a very good language and I know it well, so I'd rather not transfer to PHP. PureBasic can be used to make CGI executables. You put them in the CGI-BIN folder.

The X10 license says it's okay to use CGI scripts. But what I'm talking about isn't scripts, or Perl.

So I need to know, would it be okay for me to put executables in my CGI-BIN folder?

If anyone is interested, here's a link to the PureBasic thread discussing CGI executables.

No. To be honest, I didn't want to risk getting suspended or banned! ;)

But if it's okay to go ahead, then I'll do it.

Is the server Windows-based or Linux or what? I need to know that so I can compile the exe's for the right OS.

Thanks. :)

Linux, I believe your server specifically is CENT OS 5.
